Dr. Ian Reight is a highly experienced general surgeon and healthcare leader whose career has been defined by a commitment to excellence in patient care, surgical innovation, and medical leadership. With decades of experience in medicine, he has earned recognition for his expertise in general surgery while serving in numerous leadership roles within the healthcare community. Raised in Maryland, Dr. Reight developed an early passion for service as a volunteer firefighter and paramedic. These experiences provided firsthand exposure to emergency care and inspired his decision to pursue a career in medicine. He earned a degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park, before obtaining his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical University of the Americas. Throughout his career, Dr. Reight has served as Chief of Surgery, Medical Staff President, Medical Director of a Breast Center, Medical Director of Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine, and Lead Robotic Surgeon.
